GONE VR

A cinematic VR experience by Andrea Cooper

At the Edge of Time

In a barren desert a nowhere land suspended between past and future a woman searches for a mystical egg.

She encounters an emaciated sabre-tooth cat from the future, a drug-peddling shrub-ox, and a herd of ghostly mammoths.

GONE provocatively explores aging and futurism in the age of extinction.

GONE is an immersive VR film combining volumetric performance, 360° capture, photogrammetry, and real-time 3D animation to create a hyper-real virtual landscape.

Set against the Tablelands of Gros Morne, Newfoundland & Labrador, the work transforms a real geological landscape into a strange post-apocalyptic world — a place where extinction, memory, and possibility coexist
